Knox Presbyterian Church of Pasadena invites community members to participate in a variety of observances and celebrations during Holy Week and Easter Sunday.

      • Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service, April 2 at 7:00 pm.
Adults and youth are invited to the sanctuary for a Tenebrae service (a “service of shadows”). This service recounts the events of Jesus’s last supper, betrayal, trial, and crucifixion. Children in pre-K through 5th grade will have a separate program in Knox’s Atrium, and childcare will be provided for children ages 3 and younger.
      • Good Friday, April 3 at 7:00 pm.
Knox will host a contemplative and interactive service, including music, a journey through some of the stations of the cross, and space for reflection on the last days of Jesus’ early life.
      • Easter Sunday Service, April 5 at 10:00 am.
This is a celebratory service on the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. There will be a pancake brunch after worship, and children are invited to participate in an egg hunt on our lawn.

All events are free and will take place on the Knox campus at 225 S. Hill Ave., Pasadena, CA 91106 (Hill and Del Mar).

Looking forward to Easter at Knox! It’s a welcoming, happy church for celebrations. Much needed now.
