A solo exhibition by Pasadena-based artist Frederick Hurd, who works in traditional painting and early-photographic media, will open at the V-Gallery at Pasadena City College (PCC) on March 1 and run until March 16.*
Opening reception will take place on Thursday, March 2 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the V-Gallery.
Frederick Hurd explores our modern culture’s fascination with architecture and artworks from Classical Antiquity by employing painting and Cyanotype, a 19th Century photographic printing process.
Parking is available in Parking Lot 5, located off Bonnie Ave. A semester permit or $2 daily permit is required. For more information about the exhibition, contact Gallery Coordinator Jeff Cain at jcain4@pasadena.edu.
*The gallery will be closed for Spring Break on March 6th through the 12th.
