Don’t let the final two concerts on campus pass you by of OcTech, Caltech’s choral octet group: Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 pm & Sunday, July 26 at 2:00 pm.

Founded in early 2022, the group performs a variety of choral music including Renaissance works, folk arrangements, and contemporary compositions. Their multitalented personnel however are moving on from campus life, and so it’s time to enjoy their gifts one last time before the members pursue careers in various locations.

Entitled Farewell: Songs of Departure, both concerts are free and open to the public on the Caltech campus. Saturday’s venue is the Morgan Library in Kerkoff (2nd floor); enter on Wilson. Sunday’s show will be at the Dabney Lounge and Gardens; enter across from Ramos Auditorium. Parking for both dates will be available at 1248 E. California Blvd.

The group’s website via Caltech has links to past recordings, including Winter’s Night, Summer Love, and Ave Maria. Check them out live and online before the sun sets on their unique, lovely vocals.
