Broadway meets Lineage Dance at Pasadena’s Gamble House in Sept (Photo – lineagepac.org)
The Dance Company of Lineage Performing Arts Center will bring its professional moves and insightful reflections on Broadway history to a smaller stage, the historic Gamble House in Pasadena, for a series of special performances in September.
Billed as the Broadway Gamble Ramble 2026, the events will take place on September 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 13, 20, and 22. Showtimes are 7:00 pm, except for the two Sunday performances, which begin at 6:00 pm.
In this interactive experience, guests will journey through the house in small groups, encountering a curated series of live performances that weave together dance, theater, and narrative. Along the way, you’ll be invited to reflect not only on the evolution of Broadway, but also on your own place in history.
In true Lineage fashion, there will be deep dives into these stories, so expect some difficult material to be included. “Musical theater, like any art, is reflective of its societal context,” write the organizers. “Times right now are complicated, so the content of this show will mirror that.”

Due to the historic nature of the venue, the performances are not fully accessible. Guests will encounter low light and stairs throughout.
