Armando Rodriguez, Founder of sister companies LatinoRen and Compassionate Bot, will discuss his own journey with AI, the current state of affairs, and the future of AI.

He will talk about how AI can best be leveraged by businesses of all sizes and about the importance of creativity. Through a process he calls “Training AI”, which combines both creativity and the power of AI, he believes that all members of society can thrive and ultimately become a #societyofideas. Armando will walk us through an example of the creative process using the popular generative AI tools #ChatGPT and #midjourney.

Doors open at 8:00 am for informal networking. The presentation and Q&A moderated by Holly Bowyer will begin at 8:30 am, followed by meet-the-speaker and informal networking until 10:00 am.

Note: Street parking is generally free until 11:00 am, check street signs.

      Biography

Armando is a disciple of Jaime Escalante, the famous Bolivian teacher who encouraged his students to use “ganas” (their inner fortitude) to reach academic success. Armando was also inspired by his father, Alfredo Rodriguez, to exercise “convivienza”; in literal terms, to convivir is to live harmoniously with others.

Through this combination of willpower (ganas) and this concept of “convivienza”, Armando and his sister companies LatinoRen and Compassionate Bot are changing the way we perform customer service and also the way we think about the term “Latino”. LatinoRen was built for every inner-city kid who grows up in a disadvantaged neighborhood worldwide.
