Altadena Evacuation Zones (Photo – Los Angeles Fire Department)
The Altadena Community Emergency Response Team (CERT- overseen by the Altadena Sheriffs) will hold a meeting featuring Los Angeles County Fire Community Services Liaison Maria Grycan.
Ms. Grycan will teach us about the new Evacuation Zones and what this means to all of you. Learn how to use the Genasys Protect platform to stay informed about major emergencies happening in your community, how these emergencies may affect you, and what action you and your family should take when they occur.
> Ms. Grycan will hand out the NOAA radios (one per household or business) to those who have registered for them. The radios are an added tool to help keep you informed about brushfires that may be threatening your community. To register for radios, click here or email maria.grycan@fire.lacounty.gov.
