      Alhambra Summer Movies and Concerts (Photos – cityofalhambra)

      The City of Alhambra welcomes back the annual Concerts and Movies in the Park series, bringing music, film, and memories in the making.

      Throughout the months of July and August, guests can come to Alhambra Park, 500 N. Palm Ave., to enjoy free entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 pm, adding exciting evenings to anyone’s summer memories.
      “We are thrilled to bring back a community favorite tradition with an incredible line up of music and movies,” said Mayor Jeff Maloney. “This series offers such a great way to celebrate the summer with friends, family, and the City. We can’t wait to spend it with everyone.”
      Fridays will feature a live musical performance, offering a variety of genres to enjoy all summer long. Each concert begins at 7:00 pm:
      • July 10 — The C Band (Latin)
      • July 17 — 80s vs 90s
      • July 24 — Franklin Wall (Country & Rock)
      • July 31 — DCOM (Disney Channel Hits)
      • August 7 — Mestizo LA (Latin)
      Saturday evenings include pre-show entertainment followed by a family-favorite movie at dusk. Each movie’s pre-show begins at 7:00 pm:
      • July 11 — Zootopia 2
        • Pre-Show: Animal Show
      • July 18 — Lilo & Stitch
        • Pre-Show: Kids Concert
      • July 25 — Nightmare Before Christmas
        • Pre-Show: Character Appearance
      • July 25 — Nightmare Before Christmas
        • Pre-Show: Character Appearance
      • August 1 — Mulan
        • Pre-Show: Magic Show
      • August 8 — Super Mario Galaxy
        • Pre-Show: Character Appearance
      All events in the series will take place at the Bandshell in Alhambra Park, 500 N. Palm Ave,, Alhambra, CA 91801. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. For more information, visit www.alhambraca.gov or call (626) 570-5081.
