It’s time for Assemblymember Chris Holden’s 24th annual Community Resource Fair and Block Party!

For the last 23 years Assemblymember Holden has hosted this fun-filled event for families, community members, and kids in the 41st Assembly District. This annual block party is designed to inform the public about the services that are available through their state, county, and local governments. The event features over 60 resource tables, activities for the children, and free food and drinks. It will take place at the 500 block of Jackson Street in Pasadena.

“This event is my way of showing the community the appreciation and love I have for all that they do each day. Our community thrives because of the people, and each year they show up to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the great sense of unity and prosperity that exists here in the 41st District,” said Assemblymember Holden.

Each year, over a thousand residents show up to the Annual 41st Assembly District Community Resource Fair and Block Party and this year is expected to bring even more collaboration and growth. Through the continued support of generous sponsors and community partners, it’s expected to, once again, be a first-class, one-of-a-kind 41st Assembly District Community Resource Fair and Block Party where we combine a lot of family fun with valuable resources and information from participating organizations. This year’s “Bigger and Better” Block Party will have fun and games for children and an informative resource fair with over 50 participants ranging from local and state agencies to non-profits.

“This is not only an opportunity for fun, but also one for learning and connecting,” said Holden. “My annual Block Party is an opportunity to bring constituents from all walks of life together with the resources and people who govern right there in the mix.”
