Obon Festival is back, featuring a taiko performance, the traditional Obon Odori (dances), and more.
July 16 Schedule:
- 4:30 – 6:00 pm: Parking lot will open and verification of all attendees will begin.
Food and beverages will be sold onsite for attendees. - 5:30 pm: Live Taiko Performance, LA Ichiza Taiko.
- 6:00 pm: Official Welcome by Reverend Gibbs.
- 6:30 pm: Obon Odori will be held outside on the parking lot.
Due to Covid protocols, the attendance for the Saturday taiko performance and Obon Odori will be limited to 300. All attendees age 5 and older must be vaccinated.
