The Downtown Arcadia Improvement Association invites you to attend the 2021 Downtown Arcadia Patriotic Reverse Parade & Food Drive.
Drive the parade route through Downtown Arcadia and wave at Perdy Peacock and his sidewalk full of costumed friends including Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam. Celebrate our frontline heroes, see great patriotic decorations and displays lining First Avenue and Huntington Drive, and more! Celebrate America while supporting Arcadia Downtown businesses. The parade ends in the Denny’s restaurant parking lot at 7 E. Huntington Dr. where we will be holding a drive-thru canned food drive to benefit Foothill Unity Center.
Foothill Unity Center helps individuals and families in need. Items requested: peanut butter or nut butters, packaged can or pouch tuna/chicken, pop top canned items, granola bars or breakfast bars, individually packed snacks, pasta sauces (cans only), bottled water, beans, packaged pasta, rice or dried grains, canned soups, etc.
The first 300 cars to donate will receive a Downtown Arcadia patriotic themed gift bag with fun items inside. Select businesses and restaurants in Downtown Arcadia will be offering special discounts and promotions throughout the Independence Day weekend.
