White bullies are illegitimately taking over county by county and state by state because whites are no longer the majority and they don’t want to give up the power they won through slavery and genocide.

      By Patrick Burns

They are succeeding at a rapid pace while Democrats sit idly by. Autocratic Republicans are dominating every single function of government, from voting to taxes, school boards to legislatures, with billions of dollars in support from mega-billionaires–money that Democrats can’t begin to match. These nihilistic, Jim Jonesing Republicans have a winning plan based on total, bold corruption and a willingness to kill to get what they want. The Democrats don’t have a winning plan.

This anti-democracy movement is part of a global wave of corrupt autocrats taking power. Historian and long-time progressive talk show host Thom Hartman has documented all this in his books and articles. His credentials as a scholar give him great credibility, and he is not the only high-profile commentator saying this. Even a few brave, moderate Republicans are saying it. But you don’t have to be a scholar to see the obvious: Republicans are unified, Democrats are not. They can’t even pass single-payer health insurance in a state they own.

Patrick Burns is a retired educator living in L.A.
