A stretch of cooler weather is settling over the region, and light rain is on the way early this week, according to the U.S. National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard.
By News Desk
Forecasters say temperatures will continue to dip through Tuesday as a weak system moves in, bringing periods of rainfall from Monday into Tuesday night. Current projections estimate 0.10 to 0.50 inches of rain across Los Angeles County, with some foothill areas potentially seeing slightly higher totals.
Impacts are expected to remain minimal, though forecasters note the possibility of minor nuisance flooding in low‑lying spots. Rainfall rates are not expected to pose issues for recent burn scar areas.
Once the system moves out, conditions will shift quickly. The second half of the week is expected to be dry and warmer, returning the region to more typical spring weather.
