A much-anticipated break from a prolonged stretch of hot weather is expected early next week, with temperatures likely falling below seasonal norms during the first half of the week.

Sunday will be sunny, with a high near 91 degrees and a low around 60 under mostly clear skies. Winds will be light, generally around 5 mph.
Monday will remain sunny but slightly cooler, with a high near 88 and a low near 60. Southeast winds around 5 mph are expected to become southwesterly in the afternoon, with gusts of up to 15 mph.
Temperatures are forecast to dip further Tuesday, with sunny skies and a high near 86. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 60.
Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 87, followed by mostly clear skies and a low around 61 Wednesday night.
The warming trend will continue Thursday and Friday. Thursday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 89, while Friday will reach about 91 degrees. Overnight lows will remain mild, near 62 Thursday night and 65 Friday night.
