Pasadena Construction to Move to Raymond Avenue and Washington Boulevard Sept. 14

Pasadena Water and Power is continuing construction on the Raymond Avenue Underground Utility District project, which will install new underground infrastructure along Raymond Avenue between Maple Street and the northern city limits.

Beginning Monday, September 14, construction will move to the intersection of Raymond Avenue and Washington Boulevard. Work is scheduled daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is expected to continue for approximately three weeks.

Drivers should expect reduced lanes, temporary lane closures, and periodic rerouting as construction progresses. Motorists are encouraged to plan for delays and consider alternate routes during work hours.

The project will relocate existing overhead utility lines underground. Work is being performed by the city’s authorized contractor, Doty Bros. Construction Company.
