Each month, the gathering spotlights a different local business. This month, the Mexican flavors of La Diosa de los Moles (1965 Potrero Grande Dr., Suite A) will welcome guests on Tuesday, February 24, beginning at 5:00 pm.
Part of the City’s “Love Monterey Park” program, the event encourages residents to support local restaurants and shops while connecting with neighbors and discussing community issues in an informal setting. For more information, call (626) 307-1385.
Located at 1965 Potrero Grande Dr., Suite A, La Diosa de los Moles is known for its wide variety of traditional moles, served with chips and four kinds of mole instead of salsa. Chef Rocío Camacho, well known locally for her culinary expertise, leads the kitchen, which earns high marks for its dessert plantains, fresh tortillas, and hearty main dishes.
Next month’s “Meetup with the Mayor” will feature Jumpin’ Lobster (2120 S. Atlantic Blvd., Monterey Park) on Monday, March 23, beginning at 5:00 pm.
