Out of hundreds of entries spanning six states, the five-hour live broadcast—designed to connect neighbors with housing, supplies, and support during the Eaton Fire—was recognized as the top production of the year.
The organization also earned eight finalist nods, cementing its status as a regional leader in community media. The recognition highlights the power of local storytelling and the vital role of community voices.
“Our ‘Best of Show’ win proves that local voices are vital, powerful, and worthy of recognition far beyond city limits,” said Executive Director David Palomares.
The milestone is a testament to the dedication of the station’s team, host Chris Loos, and local government partners, celebrating 43 years of unwavering community support. Palomares emphasized, “Together, we are better.”
This achievement marks a historic moment for Monrovia and the entire Foothills region, showcasing the impact of media that puts community first.
