The City of South Pasadena City Manager’s Office is working with each department on completing organizational assessments focused on service to the community, staffing level, workflows, policy review, as well as industry best practices and trends.

These organizational assessments and actionable recommendations are presented to the City Council to make improvements to the level of service to the community.
The City of South Pasadena has engaged Raftelis, a consulting firm with experience assisting public safety organizations nationwide, to conduct the assessment of their Police Department. A significant part of this assessment is community engagement and input. Two opportunities to be involved: take an online survey to share your thoughts, and attend an upcoming public meeting.
