Rep. Judy Chu (CA-27) joined Alhambra High School students on Gun Violence Prevention Day of Action, Wednesday, September 7.

Congresswoman Chu and students discussed the gun violence epidemic and how public policy plays an influential role in helping to curb these instances of violence.

The discussion came just months after President Biden signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first major gun violence legislation passed in nearly 30 years.
