She will commemorate the 87th anniversary of Social Security, celebrate its impact, discuss the importance of Social Security and Medicare and efforts to lower drug prices, and meet one-on-one with older adults who have questions or concerns about Social Security.
Chu has partnered with several other members of the U.S. House of Representatives to commemorate the anniversary as Social Security Day of Action at senior centers and other agencies.
The event is free and open to the public. Register at pasadenaseniorcenter.org and click on Activities and Events, then Special Events or call 626-795-4331. Masks and proof of COVID vaccination will be required.
