Caregivers are often reminded to take care of themselves, but finding the time and support to do so can be difficult. Pasadena Village hopes to make that a little easier by offering caregivers a free lunch and an opportunity to connect with others who understand the rewards and challenges of caregiving.

On Monday, July 27, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, Pasadena Village will host a Care Lunch in the Village Office Community Room, 236 W. Mountain St.
The gathering is open to anyone caring for a spouse, child, friend, or other loved one. Guests will enjoy a complimentary meal while sharing conversation and support with fellow caregivers. Representatives from Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services and Pasadena Village will be available to provide resources and facilitate discussion.
The event is designed to give caregivers a chance to recharge, build community, and discuss the unique demands of caregiving in a welcoming environment.
Participants are welcome to bring the person they care for or a friend.
Advance registration is requested to reserve a free spot. Those needing transportation may request an assisted or non-assisted ride when registering for this or any Pasadena Village or recovery-related event. Transportation is provided at no cost.
