Pasadena Firefighters responded to a collision between a Metro train and a car at South Raymond Avenue and E. California Blvd. in Pasadena at 9:18 am on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023.

The driver, a woman in her 40’s, was trapped in her Toyota Camry, following the crash. She was taken to Huntington Hospital with moderate injuries.
No injuries on the Metro train. Passengers were transferred to a bus while the rail line is closed for thorough investigation.
Motorists are advised to avoid the intersection of Raymond and California as it will be closed off for a while.

Pasadena Fire and Pasadena Police have cleared the Raymond and California area but the road will remain closed until train tracks are repaired.
