After canceling their three-day tour at the Rose Bowl last year, the Korean boy band BTS announced its return to Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium in November.

SoFi Stadium is located at the former site of the Hollywood Park Racetrack in Inglewood. It opened in September 2020 and serves as the home for the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). It also serves as the home of the LA Bowl.
BTS was scheduled to play in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl for three nights in May 2020. The concerts, along with the entire tour, were canceled due to COVID-19.
Opening in October 1922, the Rose Bowl has been renovated several times through the years. In addition to hosting the Rose Bowl Game and UCLA Bruin football, the venue has hosted the Super Bowl five times as well as many other major events.
SoFi Stadium is scheduled to host Super Bowl LVI in February 2022, the College Football Playoff National Championship in January 2023, and WrestleMania 39 in April 2023. During the 2028 Summer Olympics, the stadium will host the opening and closing ceremonies, soccer, and archery.
The Rose Bowl stadium reported $211.8 million in outstanding debt at the beginning of 2020.
