Boxing, Cars and Aztec Dancing Fill Pasadena’s Centennial Square

Centennial Square came alive Friday, August 21, as athletes, families and community members gathered for the 11th Annual Centennial Square Boxing Show.

Hosted by Pasadena’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, the free event featured amateur boxing matches highlighting local youth and adult athletes.

The evening also included a car show and performances by Aztec dancers. Attendees enjoyed food, music and activities throughout the event while cheering on the athletes who stepped into the ring.

Held in front of Pasadena City Hall, the annual boxing show reflects the department’s commitment to accessible recreational opportunities, local talent and community connection through sports and entertainment.
