Three baby bobcats (Lynx Rufus) are out for an adventure in the Cottonwood Canyon of Pasadena.

Their mother leads the way. They find the Cottonwood Spring. The water is so good, so refreshing, they talk about it. They purr, they meow, making cute little sounds. The kittens are saying, ‘’Oh thank you Momma, for finding a bounteous stream of delicious water. What could be better than this? Momma agrees with the wisdom of her kittens.
In the midst of the urban highway and suburban development, we need these wildlife habitats. They teach us about the purity of life.

Splashing in the water
The Bobcat Protection Act of 2013 makes it illegal to trap bobcats in California. Residents in the area can help ensure their survival by remembering not to use rat poison, as it moves up the chain.
Thanks to the Arroyos & Foothill Conservancy (AFC) for the wonderful footage and for their commitment to preserving Cottonwood Canyon.
