
Benefit Concert to Honor Firefighters and Police for Heroic Service During Eaton Fire (Photo -Nat Nehdar)
Longtime community volunteer and concert producer Nat Nehdar has announced a fundraising concert to support local firefighter and police officer associations in recognition of their dedicated service during the Eaton Fire.

The concert will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Noor in Paseo Colorado (300 East Colorado Blvd, Suite 200, Pasadena, CA 91101).
Nine nationally and internationally recognized artists will perform: Dmitry Rachmanov (piano), Zuri Alexander (vocals), Hui Wu (piano), Jennifer Jo (flute), Julie Wong (piano), Zachary Tsai (cello), Yin Yin Huang (piano), Ling Yan (cello), and Jonathan Wei (violin).
- Doors open: 4:00 pm
- Buffet dinner: 4:30 – 5:30 Ppm
- Concert: 5:45 – 7:15 pm
- Tickets: $50 (available via Zelle at 626-437-1354 or by check, payable to Nat Nehdar, mailed to 501 N. Hidalgo Ave, Alhambra, CA 91801).

Nat shares: “I saw a video of how brave firefighters with garden hoses put out fires and saved two houses. Many homeowners and neighbors who were affected by the fire asked me to do this concert. This benefit concert is a small token of our appreciation for what our heroes did during the recent fires and what they continue to do throughout the year as they serve with honor and distinction.”

Tax-deductible sponsorships are available:
- Gold Level ($3,500): 10 complimentary tickets
- Silver Level ($2,500): 8 complimentary tickets
- Bronze Level ($1,500): 6 complimentary tickets
Checks should be made payable to Elements & Essence of Humanity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (#46-2974267), and mailed to 501 N. Hidalgo Ave, Alhambra, CA 91801. Sponsors will be acknowledged in the event program and on the day of the concert.
