The newly elected “leader of the free world” frequently proposes outlandish ideas—buying Greenland, occupying Panama, or suggesting that Palestinians should be relocated—to dominate the media landscape and divert public attention from the more significant changes occurring within the U.S. federal government.

These distractions serve a dual purpose: they not only dominate the media landscape but also overshadow critical legislative actions, executive orders, and in some cases, illegal maneuvers. In the process, the public’s attention is diverted from the systematic dismantling of U.S. institutions that safeguard national security and effective governance.

The process is both deliberate and relentless. The once-sturdy framework of American democracy is slowly being undermined, leaving the nation vulnerable to a future it might not recognize. If left unchecked, these shifts will damage the very fabric of American governance, leaving citizens powerless to reclaim what’s been lost.
