Recruits from Beaumont High School in Cherry Valley, CA, have been identified as the culprits in the locker room theft at the Rose Bowl on 10/28/23.
By Briony James
The students were visiting as recruits for UCLA during the Colorado-UCLA game when the Colorado locker room was broken into. Several thousand dollars in items and cash were stolen in the midst of the game, in a brazen and shockingly unsportsmanlike act.
At least six of the Colorado players, including Derrick McLendon, Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, and Jordan Domineck as well as Reach the People Media’s Darius Sanders, lost valuable jewelry, headphones, phones, and cash. The news was first reported on the Coach JB show and was confirmed by the Pasadena Police Dept. All the suspects are juveniles. They have not been publicly named, although at least two have been arrested.
