Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Playhouse Village Association, and Playhouse Village Foundation present Beach Party in the Park – a free celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Cheeseburger.

      By News Desk

On National Cheeseburger Day, this event honors Pasadena’s unique claim as the birthplace of the cheeseburger, set to infectious tunes from Rock Candy by Art Deco Entertainment playing a mix of classic and contemporary rock ‘n roll hits including Jimmy Buffet’s Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Celebrate this culinary icon and savor specialty cheeseburgers and fries offered for sale by local spot Smash House Burger Co. Embrace the beach vibe by wearing your favorite tropical garb — Hawaiian shirts are highly encouraged.

RSVPs aren’t required, but highly encouraged. To RSVP, click here.
