As the new school year gets underway, students throughout the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) are returning to revitalized campuses, thanks to voter-approved facilities bonds. These upgrades are creating a more vibrant and welcoming environment for learning.

      By News Desk

At Hamilton Elementary School, students are greeted by a newly transformed playground. With fresh paint and revitalized surfaces, recess games are more exciting than ever. This update is part of a district-wide effort to enhance student spaces and ensure they are safe, engaging, and inspiring.

Meanwhile, at Pasadena High School, the Bulldog community is enjoying a refreshed entrance and new walkways, now complemented by landscaping that gives the campus a modern and polished appearance. These updates not only beautify the school but also set the stage for a year filled with school spirit and Bulldog pride.

In her message to the community, PUSD Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Blanco expressed her excitement for the year ahead, highlighting the positive energy on campuses as students and staff reconnect. “The Power of PUSD was on full display,” Dr. Blanco wrote, adding that it marked a “wonderful start to the new school year.”

For more information, including tips for the school year and resources on recent immigration enforcement in the region, families can visit the PUSD website at pusd.us/backtoschool.
