Although classes will be taught online through April 24, the library and computer labs will remain open and available to students without Internet service at home, announced Cal State LA President Bill Covino in a letter to the community (read full letter here):
We will keep the library and computer labs open and available to students who lack access to technology. Student services, residence halls, and dining halls will remain open. The Student Health Center, including Counseling and Psychological Services, will continue to see students.
Classes will be canceled from March 16 through March 19 and will resume March 20 with faculty using means of instruction that do not require students to congregate. Alternative instruction will continue for four weeks through April 24.
There have been no reported cases of Cal State LA students, faculty or staff being diagnosed with coronavirus.
