The 14th Annual Alumni Award recipients will be honored during the virtual graduation ceremony on December 19, 2020. The awards reflect accomplishments in multiple disciplines.

Lee Friedlander will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. He is one of the giants of post-WW2 American photography, and his photos have appeared in countless museums over a decades-long career.

Melodie McDaniel, who will receive the Distinguished Midcareer Award, has directed name-brand commercials and music videos for Madonna and others during her 25-year career. Her photos have appeared in Rolling Stone, Vogue Hommes, and Time.

Allison Goodman has taught at ArtCenter for three decades. Her skill at distinctive visual communications goes back to the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. She will receive the Outstanding Service Award.

Parker Kunci is a Seattle-based inventor and was a design leader at Samsung, Uber and PayPal.  He currently is a design leader at Oracle and has filed or been granted more than 20 patents. He will receive a Young Innovator Award.

With the Alumni Awards, ArtCenter recognizes and celebrates the significant impact of individuals working in the fields of photography, industrial and graphic design, and filmmaking.
