The Altadena Town Council will convene virtually for its monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 7:00 pm. Community members are encouraged to tune in live at Pasadena Media’s YouTube channel.

The meeting will feature updates from local officials, reports from various committees, and time for public input.
The agenda includes a full slate of reports from Council officers and public safety representatives. Notable updates will come from Acting-Captain Marquez of the Altadena Sheriff’s Station, Officers Keller and Bay from the California Highway Patrol, and Maria Grycan of L.A. County Fire.
Community reports will be presented by Colonel Avichal from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ALD Library Director Nikki Winslow, and Parks Regional Director Samuel Estrada.
Two special presentations are scheduled: one featuring a Community Wellness Program (CWP) artist presentation by Catherine Azimi, Patricia Gomez from L.A. County Arts and Culture, and artist Wesley Clark; the other, an update on Consolidated Sewer Maintenance by Alex Villarama from Public Works.
The Council will also hear from standing committees on legislation, renters’ protection, communication, by-laws, and the Altadena Eaton Fire Recovery Fund.
Residents wishing to participate in the meeting are invited to submit public comments via email to PublicComment@altadenatowncouncil.org no later than 12:00 pm on May 20. Comments should be limited to two minutes and may be read into the official record during the meeting. For direct responses, participants are encouraged to include contact details and their census tract or address.
The meeting will conclude with census tract reports from areas 4610 and 4611, followed by adjournment.
