The Altadena Town Council will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Altadena Community Center, located at 730 E. Altadena Drive. The meeting will also be available for live viewing on Pasadena Media’s YouTube channel.

The meeting will begin with a flag salute led by Nicole Vazquez, followed by roll call conducted by Recording Secretary Sylvia Vega. Council members are scheduled to consider approval of the June 16 meeting agenda, presented by Vice Chair Milissa Marona.
Officer reports will include updates from Chair Nic Arnzen, Vice Chair Marona, Recording Secretary Vega, Treasurer Darlene Greene, and Corresponding Secretary Kim Yu. The council will also consider approval of the May 19, 2026, meeting minutes.
A special presentation on state legislation, including Senate Bill 9 and Senate Bill 1090, is scheduled as part of the evening’s agenda. The presentation will feature updates from Director Saraiya, Senator Perez, and Assemblymember Harabedian. Public comment will be accepted following the presentation.
Public safety reports will be delivered by representatives from the Altadena Sheriff’s Station, the California Highway Patrol, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Scheduled speakers include Captain Marquez, Officer Keller, and Maria Grycan.
Residents will have an opportunity to address the council during the general public comment period. Comments are limited to two minutes, and participants must complete a comment card available at the meeting venue. The council does not respond to comments during meetings, though requests for follow-up may be submitted with contact information.
Another special presentation will be provided by Southern California Edison, focusing on customer savings programs and utility updates. Public comment will also be accepted following that presentation.
Community reports are expected from Guillermo Portillo of Parks and Recreation and Billy Mallone of the Christmas Tree Lane Association.
The council will also receive reports from several standing committees, including Land Use, Renters Protection and Recovery, Legislative Affairs, Education, Rebuilding and Infrastructure, Safe Streets and Mobility, and Bylaws.
The meeting will conclude with public comment on agenda items and census tract reports for Tract 4610 and Tract 4603.01 before adjournment.
