Yu will also present two items for a vote: a letter regarding Southern California Edison (SCE) and a CORE letter.
Public safety updates are scheduled from representatives of the Altadena Sheriff’s Station, the California Highway Patrol, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The council will then open the floor for general public comment, with remarks limited to two minutes per speaker. While council members do not respond during the meeting, submitted comments may be forwarded for follow-up.
A special presentation by the Los Angeles County Public Works and Regional Planning departments will focus on infrastructure. Alicia Ramos, principal engineer with Public Works, will lead the presentation. A separate public comment period will follow.
Community reports will include updates on temporary construction signage from regional planning officials Sharon Guidry and Ramon Cordova, along with a report from Parks and Recreation representative Guillermo Portillo.
Committee reports will address land use, fire recovery funding, legislative matters, renter protections, rebuilding and infrastructure, education, and safe streets and mobility.
Additional public comment on agenda items will be taken before the council moves into census tract reports for Areas 4611 and 4610.
Residents can watch the proceedings live via the council’s official online stream.
