The February Altadena Town Council meeting on February 20 included a presentation and overview of the upcoming road resurfacing project taking place on and around the Washington Blvd. and Altadena Drive intersection.

      By Nic Arnzen

The construction is estimated to begin in June and conclude in the summer of 2025. There will be an update presentation at the Altadena Community Center on April 11, 2024. For more specifics on that meeting, as well as other aspects of the project, go to AltadenaWashingtonImprovements.com.

In other Altadena news, the 3rd Annual Altadena Pride Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 8. The day of celebration includes an Opening Ceremony at the Altadena Library, a Walkabout and flag waving through central Altadena, Spiritual Exploration at Altadena Baptist Church, free Community Picnic at Triangle Park, and the big Altadena Pride Festival at the Senior Center.
