Join Pasadena Heritage for the third lecture in the Altadena Revealed series featuring Stephanie Landregan, FASLA, a nationally recognized landscape architect and educator.

Drawing on her years of experience in the Wildlife Urban Interface as Chief Landscape Architect for the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority, Stephanie will speak about the critical role of trees in fire recovery, climate resilience, and cultural memory. As a co-founder of Altadena Green, a grassroots fire response initiative, she brings deep insight into the urgent need to protect and reimagine Altadena’s urban forest in the face of increasing wildfire threats.
This timely conversation will spotlight both the vulnerabilities and possibilities of Altadena’s landscape—past, present, and future.
Stephanie currently serves as the Director of the Landscape Architecture and Horticulture & Gardening Programs at UCLA Extension, where her work emphasizes community-based design and sustainable practices.
