Alhambra City Councilwoman Adele Andrade-Stadler has announced her campaign for re-election, seeking a third term on the City Council. Andrade-Stadler was first elected in 2018 and won a second term in 2022.

During her tenure on the council, Andrade-Stadler has championed several initiatives, including the adoption of Alhambra’s Inclusionary Housing Ordinance, the expansion of affordable housing assistance programs, implementation of a Community Workforce Agreement to increase local hiring opportunities, the city’s transition to 100% renewable energy, and ongoing efforts to address issues related to the State Route 710 stub in coordination with Caltrans.
Andrade-Stadler previously served as Alhambra’s first Latina mayor. Before joining the City Council, she spent 14 years on the Alhambra Unified School District Board of Education, where she served as board president, vice president and clerk.
In addition to her work on the City Council, Andrade-Stadler serves on several regional organizations focused on transportation, housing and long-range planning in the San Gabriel Valley. She also serves on the San Gabriel Valley Regional Housing Trust, which supports affordable housing development throughout the region.
Earlier in her career, Andrade-Stadler worked in early childhood education, directing nonprofit child care programs before serving as district director for then-U.S. Rep. Hilda Solis. In that role, she helped constituents access government services and resources.
A lifelong Alhambra resident, Andrade-Stadler has said her commitment to public service was inspired by her family, particularly her mother, a surgical nurse who raised four children as a single parent.
In announcing her campaign, Andrade-Stadler said she plans to continue focusing on local priorities and building on the work accomplished during her previous terms.
The election is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.
