Looking for a guaranteed memorable Christmas event to share with family or friends? You won’t regret creating a wonderful Christmas memory by sharing A Noise Within’s magical take on this Dickens classic. This is the sixth year for this production and I am sorry to say it is my first year to see it, although I tried to make up by seeing it twice.
It is exciting and endearing from the first moment, filling the senses with color, action, full-stage drama that extends up and down the theater aisles, and original music. I’m sure the original black-and-white movie version is near and dear to many hearts, but this production will have a place right next to it and you will leave with a smile on your face (and a cup of cider in your hand, served by the cast, who are available for pictures and good cheer after the performance). So imaginative yet true to the story and themes, your love for this Christmas treasure will be renewed, and for the young ones who’ve never seen it, this will be a great introduction. And in the current turbulent social climate in the country, the theme of love for your family, friends, and all others is a heartwarming reminder of the good in everyday life.

The ghosts of Marley, Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future appear in fresh imaginings with elaborate costuming, literally larger-than-life characterizations, enhanced with catchy music (you will be singing ‘Glorious!” as you drive home).
Two more weekends left to enjoy this gem – get your tickets now! Pasadena is so lucky that A Noise Within moved here, and even luckier that it is at such a convenient location with free parking and numerous nearby restaurants to enjoy a meal before or after the performance.
