From East Foothill Boulevard to Old Pasadena, the city is experiencing a wave of openings that’s reshaping neighborhoods and giving locals plenty to explore.
A Surge of New Energy Across Pasadena
East Foothill Boulevard is emerging as a retail powerhouse with two major newcomers. Bob’s Furniture opened at the start of the year, and Boot Barn has now joined the corridor at 3353 E. Foothill Blvd.
Downtown is seeing its own momentum. At The Paseo, Escapology and Monarca Collective have opened at 300 E. Colorado Blvd., bringing immersive entertainment and curated retail to the center. Nearby, Lunasia Signature has relocated to 865 E. Colorado Blvd., refreshing its presence in the district.
Pasadena’s Culinary Scene
The city continues to evolve as a food lover’s playground. Love Baked Wings has arrived at 38 W. Colorado Blvd., bringing its cult‑favorite wings to Old Pasadena. On N. Hill Ave., Sliders Bakery and Ice Cream Factory has opened a second location at 1355 N. Hill Ave.
At One Colorado, THAIM on 20 Union St. is introducing a Thai street‑food concept, adding even more global flavor to the neighborhood’s eclectic mix.
What’s Coming Next
The momentum isn’t slowing. Several highly anticipated businesses are preparing to join Pasadena’s lineup later this year:
- Nana’s Green Tea at 45 N. Raymond Ave will be having its grand opening on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
- Mammoth Coffee Roasting at 183 N. Fair Oaks Ave
- Olive Young, the popular beauty and lifestyle retailer, at 58 W. Colorado Blvd
