Energies were at an all time high at Thursday’s Thanksgiving Turkey Trot!
By Diane Orona
In support of the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation and the Pasadena Unified School District, runners, walkers, strollers, and on-lookers attended the 3.1-mile run/walk around the Rose Bowl.
A new record was set with over 4,000 folks participating – this included serious runners and recreational walkers alike – raising over $50,000 for the Foundation and PUSD. Much appreciated were the fantastic costumes worn which brought a spirit of fun to the event. The Foundation will use the funds to preserve and protect the future of the Rose Bowl Stadium and PUSD will be able to enhance its athletic programs across the district.
Can’t wait until next year when the festivities begin again!
