The finalists represent applicants from 41 Pasadena-area schools. Seven students will be selected for the 2027 Rose Court on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026.

The Rose Court selection process considers academic achievement, involvement in school and community activities, public-speaking ability and youth leadership. Volunteer members of the Tournament of Roses’ Queen & Court Committee make the selections.

Those selected will receive a $7,500 educational scholarship and participate in personal-development programs focused on public speaking, presentation skills, etiquette and confidence. They will also have opportunities to volunteer, connect with community leaders and contribute to local causes.

The seven Rose Court members will represent the Tournament of Roses throughout the year, including through appearances in the 138th Rose Parade presented by Honda and at the College Football Playoff quarterfinal at the 113th Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential on Friday, Jan. 1, 2027.
