Keynote speaker KhaMarr Smith at the 2025 King Day Celebration – on Jan. 20, 2025, at the Robinson Park Recreation Center

In lieu of their regular King Day Celebration, the Pasadena MLK Community Coalition, invites the public to join a special community gathering to observe and honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The special community gathering will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Robinson Park Recreation Center (1081 N. Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91103).

Keynote speaker will be KhaMarr Smith, Entrepreneur, Educator and CEO of Dennis Wright Agriculture & Technology, Inc. Musical and dance performances are scheduled from students of Pasadena area schools. Lunch will be provided.

The Arts and Essay Contests’ winners -1st, 2nd and 3rd place recipients- will be honored at a later date.
